What the Cards say…

I don’t see India as a superpower even by 2050 I’m afraid. However, if the nation wants to play a more enhanced role in the international arena, the cards indicate that it is the resolution of international issues that will give it strength to solve its external problems.

India seems to be holding back. It could have already done better than what it has, especially in trade and commerce. As per the cards, dynamic chances have slipped away because of policies, situations and people. Two more good opportunities will occur in the near future and must be taken up. Here is what first five decades of the 21st century look like.

2000-2010

Agriculture will prosper. It will literally bud out and flower. This is a good decade for plants and anything related to nature. The economy will also blossom. By 2009, the older generation will be replaced by new leaders. Between 2000 and 2010, women leaders will play an important role and hold major positions.

2010-2020

On the agriculture front, I see the country actually beginning to make big bucks. The wheel of fortune turns in India’s favour. As far as the economy is concerned, India should keep her plans under wraps until these are solid. To do otherwise, would very fruitful for India. Also, under the guidance of a few powerful people holding positions of authority, India will relate to other countries as a powerful nation and hold an important position in the world community. During this period, India will brook no nonsense or interference in its internal affairs. However, to bring the nation’s infrastructure up to par the Government will have to take a lot of risks. The cards say it will have to plunge into the unknown. And this, if done, will be to the good.

2020-2030

There are three other countries which together will start something new – a new front maybe – which will prove to be very fruitful for India.

And this, if done, will be for the good.

2030-2040

India will finally have established a strong internal base on all major fronts and will be in a position to share its resources with the international community. But, the cards also say that along with its economic strength, India will display a morality prone mind set vis a vis other countries which will create problems. The only way around would be for India to be more receptive and not to try and control things.

2040-2050

This decade prophesies to be a wonderful period for India. We will trade with a lot of countries. On the downside though we will be hemmed in by rules, regulations, legalities. These will be set by other countries to force us to come to certain compromises. According to the cards, this isrelated to corruption within the country.
